The amount of opportunities and activities that are on campus really helped prepare you for the world.
I was able to be the president of the Young Entrepreneurs club.
I was president in the Student Athlete Assembly, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, the Vice President of the National Society of Leadership Success-- that wouldn't have been possible without the faculty and staff here at Felician.
So some of the clubs we have here on campus, there's a lot to pick from.
We have clubs, like the Black Student Union.
We have Italian club.
We have acting club.
We also have some sororities and fraternities as well on campus, which is really great for students who are interested in that.
For communications majors like myself, we do have a radio station here on campus, and you can create your own podcast, you can DJ.
My show is called, "Spill the Tea".
And once a week, we, you know, talk about spilling the tea about a certain topic.
And you know, a lot of students on campus love it, and they like to recommend ideas for the show and what to spill the tea about.
I'm also the president of the acting club.
And that was just a new club that was founded this semester actually.
I'm also president of Best Buddies club.
And basically we go to the exceptional school for children on the Lodi campus once a month.
We're going to be helping them and working with them to do some fun activities with them.
I've personally benefited from Student Government Association because it's definitely sharpened my already pretty good leadership skills.
It's taught me better communications, taught me when and where to do things, and just taught me overall how to make better decisions, and make decisions involving others, not just by myself.
Your college experience is going to be what you make it no matter where you go.
But Felician, in particular, is where I found like my best friends and it's where I was able to find my passions.
So if you're looking for a sense of community, to find friends, and a place where you're going to be able to find your passion-- then you should come to Felician.
