The quality of education I received here is phenomenal. It was a really good mix of true academic professors, which gave a great opportunity to learn the theory behind things. And then there are a lot of adjuncts, and other professors that truly had the practical skills of working in the workplace, which is something that you don't always necessarily get in an academic setting. So I really appreciated that.
Felician gave me a lot of opportunities to try things hands on. So my last semester here at Felician University, I ended up interning on a presidential campaign for Chris Christie that then led to a job offer in his administration as governor. I was simultaneously getting my Master's in Business here at Felician, where one of my colleagues in the business program had offered me a job at Hackensack Meridian Health, through the connections that I've made here, and the opportunities that have been made available to me. I have traveled the entire country speaking at different conferences. I've gotten to meet people, nationally, internationally, in all different walks of life, in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, the legal profession.
I came to Felician, the fall of 2017. I graduated with my bachelor's in three and a half years, and while I was getting my undergrad, I was able to intern at one of the largest general contractors in the world. And luckily, they offered me a full time job. And after I finished my undergrad, I went straight into getting my masters with the night classes for the MBA program. It made it possible for me to be able to get a full time job.
What brought me to Felician was the close knit family that I saw going to a private school. I kind of wanted that same family setting in the university. So seeing that here at Felician especially within the School of Business. It was a match made in heaven.
